The Pricing Coordinator position provides quotes for Air/Ocean rates to existing and potential customers. This position works in a fast-paced environment and requires strong MS Excel skills, the ability to manage tight deadlines, a positive “can do” attitude, and excellent customer service skills. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Quote air/ocean (FCL and LCL) and destination rates to existing and potential customers
Coordinate with Global Offices and Procurement teams to respond to Tender Requests
Source and price rates to ensure optimal gross margins on shipments
Provide support to Sales, KAM and Operations teams
Update rate matrix
Data analysis
Negotiate rates and maintain vendor relationships
Monitor bookings to ensure they are routed correctly and/or as they were quoted
Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner
Audit air/ocean files for accuracy as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Knowledge of air and ocean pricing in multiple trade lanes
Excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in MS programs, with an emphasis in advanced functions of Excel (must know vlookups, indexes, Pivot tables)
